Käthe (rhymes with dāta) is an American actor best known for her role of the fan-favorite DDA Andrea Hobbs, a role she played in both THE CLOSER and it’s spinoff, MAJOR CRIMES for 9 seasons on TNT. She has appeared in AMERICAN SNIPER, CASTLE, NCIS, GREY’S ANATOMY, HOUSE, ER,CRIMINAL MINDS:SUSPECT BEHAVIOR, ALIAS, PRIVATE PRACTICE, MONK, FRASIER, JUDGING AMY and many more.

A graduate of NYU, she has performed onstage,  in Los Angeles and New York, as well as in Italy and Spain with the Italian company, Assemblea Teatro di Torino. She is also is well-known as an Audiobook narrator.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son.
